"I first worked with Donna Newman back in 2017 when Wild in Art commissioned her to paint two bears for our ‘Big Sleuth’ sculpture trail in Birmingham. We were so impressed with Donna’s incredible ‘Shakes’bear’ and ‘Honeybear’ designs, her attention to detail, friendly and communicative approach, we further commissioned her to design and create another two sculptures for the project. The first allowed her to  demonstrate to us, an ability to work to a collaborative community brief, whilst the second; to work with a high profile, celebrity musician, bringing to life their abstract concept.

Donna’s work was of such high quality and her work ethic, speed and adaptability highlighted her as a very ‘safe pair of hands’ and we have continued to work with her ever since, as one of our valued stable of freelance artists. In past 5 years myself and our event partners have commissioned Donna to produce over 35 sculptures for large scale public art events.

In summery I wholeheartedly recommend Donna, as a highly talented and adaptable artist. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and continues to blow us away with each new commission idea she develops. We hope to continue to enjoy a long and happy working relationship with Donna."
